Je souhaite paramétrer l'envoi d'une campagne SMS récurrente sur la Version 2021.
Je comprends que dans NetBusiness, l'écran de création d'un SMS récurrent fonctionne comme l'envoi d'emailing récurrent mais comment est déclenché l'envoi ?
Pour les emails il y a une tâche planifiée mais pas pour les sms.
Je ne vois rien dans l'aide en ligne, seuls les emailings récurrents sont présentés mais pas les sms. Pourtant la fonctionnalité "type = envoi récurrent" est bien proposé dans Edeal pour les sms. C'est très confusant pour les utilisateurs.

I would like to configure the sending of a recurring SMS campaign on Version 2021.
I understand that in NetBusiness, the screen for creating a recurring SMS works like sending a recurring email, but how is the sending triggered?
For emails there is a scheduled task but not for SMS.
I don't see anything in the online help, only recurring emails are presented but not text messages. However, the “type = recurring sending” functionality is indeed offered in Edeal for SMS. This is very confusing for users.

One of the users has an issue with efficy add in in outlook, every time he starts outlook he gets the following error (see attached photo).
i did a try to reaper the installation and disabled the add-in and re-enabled it but it didnt help.
How can we solve this problem?

Hi everyone,

One of my user came yesterday with a strange error popup from his outlook add-in efficy integration.

Whenever he's trying to use the add-in, outlook crashes because it couldn't connect to efficy server. then popup appears telling "couldn't load midas.dll"

Also outlook asking if I want to import dll missing from the server, which not working

i access efficy through the sidebar - and everything's ok from the web

what I already tried :
- reinstall efficy sidebar
- midas.dll is well stored in syswow64/system32
- registrer midas.dll
- update outlook

I have 30 users working with this efficy integration, and I haven't configure anything different on his computer.

Is there a way to only select the year and month in the date picker? The day is not relevant for my case. In the database, it can still have the full date, as I can just extract the year and month. However, the date picker itself should not show the day.
I see that it is possible in the newest version of the library that you adapted, but I don't see how it's possible with your implementation.

The common functional solution for this question is working with the "end date" and when it's before today the person is no longer working for that company.

A contact can have only one "main" (or primary) company in Efficy, this is used for auto linking it to Actions, Documents etc. This is functionally different from actively working at.

Hello I see in the code of this new Intercom Chat, that in MacroLibrary.txt there is a macro
IntercomAppId

So I think you only need to overload this macro like this in your custom

IntercomAppId {[#EMPTY#]}

Because, if this macro is empty it will not start the JavaScript that display the Intercom Chat Green Button :)

They all use one shared component, that's the Efficy Application Server (COM+) which manages the database connections. Network issues between this component and the database server can lead to queues and instability of this component and it's consumers.

If it's irregular - as you said - log files analysis will be required in order to provide assistance.

Your best next move is to make a support ticket with as much information as possible:

Hello all,

A client has an Exchange server provided by OVH (no Office 365). Their issue is that OVH won't let them setup impersonate rights on an user to sync with Efficy.

They do not want to migrate to Office 365 or get an On premise server for this.

Does anyone know of a client that has an Exchange server provider that can allow impersonate rights ?

It's a French client so a French provider/Hosted in France would be nice.

I don't think Exchange sync is synchronizing users, it just synchronize agendas/tasks/contacts/companies.

May be your customer restored a backup of their database (if they are onPremise) or directly via an SQL request ?

What you can also to, is to activate the change logs on the ACC_ACCOUNTS/ACC_GROUPS tables. This can be done in SYS_TABLEVIEWS by setting the LOGCHANGES column to '1' and ISCUSTOM column to '1' on table views : Users and Groups.

This will help you to understand if the modification is done by a user or not ?

For question 1/, once a contact has been synchronized with Flexmail, the trio :

Efficy Contact key (SYNCHRO.K_1 =K_CONTACT)
EmailID (SYNCHRO.INT_1, 1=EMAIL1, 2=EMAIL2, 3=EMAIL3)
and FlexmailID

are saved in the SYNCHRO table (the K_APPLICATION in the SYNCHRO table = 27 for Flexmail Synchro). So since the flexmail synchronization is based on the Ids, I would say that if the email address change in Efficy, it will also change in Flexmail and vice versa.

For question 2/ same as before it is the trio Efficy Contact Key, Email Id and FlexmailID so in Flexmail I supposed (to be verified) that there will be 2 contacts with same NAME and FIRSTNAME but with a différent Email address and a different Flexmail.referenceId (which is composed of Efficy Contact Key + '_' + EmailID)

La tâche planifiée est le processus asynchrone qui permet de calculer de manière périodique sur toute la base des personnes leur date de dernier mouvement en effet.
En revanche il existe en standard des règles dans le moteur de règles qui mettent à jour instantanément (synchrone) la date de dernier mouvement des personnes lorsque une interaction ou une demande est réalisée sur une personne par exemple.

voir la régle "Data Privacy: Set correspondant date of last move" dans le moteur de regles sur l'objet Interaction sur les evenements après "Mise à jour" et après "Création".

Voir la regle "Data Privacy: Set Demande date of last move" sur l'objet demande également.

Attention ceci n'est pas exhaustif, il pourrait y avoir d'autres traitements customs ou standards qui mettrent à jour le champ PerDataPrivLastMove immediatement.

The Mobile app uses edit context the exact same way that the "web" app does.

Therefore, you can add your custom logic in the EditInitializedComp method:

Hello,

I think you can do this by creating the publication in Efficy, with the same NAME than the Flexmail Campaign. And then activate the category "PUBL$EMAILING" and fill in the following fields with DBEditor (Efficy tool to access the Database records) because this category is hidden and cannot be managed from Efficy interface:
- PUBL$EMAILING.KFLEXMAIL = [Key of the Flexmail Account you can find this to Efficy Designer Flexmail configuration window]
- PUBL$EMAILING.CAMPAIGN_ID = [the Flexmail key of the campaign that has been created from Flexmail]

If this is working, you can probably create a new functionality to ask the Flexmail Campaign ID and update the hidden fields in PUBL$EMAILING via a ServerScript.

Then the campaign can be synchronized to get the campaign result.

To display your custom field just think you must first adapt your sys_queries.

For My Ranking, it counts the links to those entities that have been created by your user.

As user, you cannot verify this. Only the server administrator could inspect the log files of the service and verify if - within a certain timeframe - an e-mail was sent.

There are so many reasons why an e-mail notification could not be received:

The person who is managing the incident in Efficy, did not use the case "Inform Customer" command
The contact is not linked to the Action or has no e-mail
E-mail ended up in SPAM

The owner is defined in the field K_USER of your record, you can simply update it.
forceUserRole can be used to set the default securities of a given role (group) when creating records.
impersonateAccount makes use another user as the user logged in. It is used by services like exchange synchros.

See the manual.

With Fast Google Search, you can type train doc to get all documents whose name contain e.g. training and document. But dtSearch looks for words, not parts of words, so if you type train doc, it would search for files containing train and doc as a whole word, not as part of a word. Thus, to obtain the same kind of results, you would need to type train* doc* as a search string.

See also the dtSearch website to learn how to look for values.

I suppose that a new customer is prompted by Flexmail to select the desired languages when creating the account and if they want to add new languages latter, they currently have to contact Flexmail to add them in the account. I don’t think that Flexmail added the interface to add new languages but they are planning to do it.

Yes if the language is added in the Flexmail account, the synchro will synchronize the contacts. The synchro attempts to synchronize them at every run until the language is added in Flexmail.

AFAIK there is no project to make the equivalent feature for MacOS, because the efficy drive became a bit obsolete due to the enhancement of the file management in Efficy, which does something similar.

I added a new tab products on stages and it work sot the method to attach tables is ok, but no one of the tab is working when I call a step. I saw that some of WkldEditDetailTabHeaders and WkldEditDetailTabContents was filter by <# if (!isStep) { #> or <# if (isStep) { #>

So in my custom I changed some stuff to make it appear and I created a variant of the addLink button to have
data-msg="addLink;WrkStep;<#=@ data.key #>;$detail$" or data-msg="addLink;WrkStag;<#=@ data.key #>;$detail$" both (WrkStep and WrkStag) are existing into the sys_tableviews.
Why it has no effect on addLink for steps while it work's on step. I call only a basic addLink.

Into MacroWorkloadCustom I changed the standard like this.

So I remove the if clause into the header and contents to remove the restriction on steps. And I added a macro called depending on if it's step or not. If yes the addling is done on WrkStep or if not on WrkStag.
I have missed something to finish the job.

If the url is not uniquely mapped with a customer profile, Efficy will throw this "The host is allowed in more than one customer profile..." exception.

Either you make sure the host is uniquely mapped (preferred) or you have to pass the customer argument in the SOAP url.

E.g. https://myhostname/crm/SOAP?customer=xxxxx

This will not be possible to use the onField, since your field is on the relation table.
The best is to create a Template Script to find the company/contact linked to your case that has the needed role and call it in your template to retrieve the result.

How to upgrade sidebar after migration (Efficy 11)

Log manually in your Efficy ( example.efficy.com)
Enter your login and access to your home page of Efficy
go to the right top and select " Sidebar and Add Ins "
Download your new Sidebar and run it.
The installation software gonna remove the old version and install the new one.
After the installation you can run the app from your desktop.
In case of error check if your profile is selected, right click on you sidebar > Profile
in case of that you don't have a profile. > Open again the windows " Sidebar and Addins" and select the option > Configure the Efficy Sidebar
A little windows gonna open and ask for your EFFICY PASSWORD
The profile name is not your username (so you can give any name that you want.) Efficy detect automatically your username.

The solution are the next steps:

Go the "Systeme Preference"
choose " Security & Privacy"
Select " Privacy"
Choose " Full Disk access" on the left list.
Click on the lock for make changes
Check Efficy sidebar on the list.
