Hi,

We have this issue with efficy service AutoMailUploader :
"
XXX@XXXX (Graph API)
CreateMailBox error: Code: ErrorFolderSavePropertyError
Message: The folder save operation failed due to invalid property values."

With exactly the same service configuration between 2 Efficy on premise environnement but different builds (28174 vs 28765), we have this error message and none of emails located into the mail watched folder are processed.

An idea please ?

Hi everyone,

One of my user came yesterday with a strange error popup from his outlook add-in efficy integration.

Whenever he's trying to use the add-in, outlook crashes because it couldn't connect to efficy server. then popup appears telling "couldn't load midas.dll"

Also outlook asking if I want to import dll missing from the server, which not working

i access efficy through the sidebar - and everything's ok from the web

what I already tried :
- reinstall efficy sidebar
- midas.dll is well stored in syswow64/system32
- registrer midas.dll
- update outlook

I have 30 users working with this efficy integration, and I haven't configure anything different on his computer.

I have an unexpected Error with guest configuration.
I configured the alias manager as described into this page.

I basically used a new database, duplicated the sample directory into my custom folder and adding int the alias manager like described.

But each time we call the url we got this error message.

I need to migrate a macro from 11.0 version to 12.0.
Previously the key of the form was loaded by a loadServerJs + RunScript ConsultSectionsForm.Oppo {[<%LoadServerJs("functiontags/userrole")%><%RunScript("getConsultFormOppo")%>]}
The script still working because if it call into an other macro the number is well call back with number.
The problem is that the same call into a 12.0 version return an Efficy error.

Nomad replication can't establish connection

We want to move an existing Nomad replication from an old server to a new server.
The alias manager on the new server can make a connection to the Nomad database.

However, when we want to run the replication, it stops with the message

Error: This operation requires a database connection

The Efficy version installed on the server is exactly the same as the version on the old server (on which the replication runs fine).
The only difference (I can think of that might be of importance) is that the new server is not part of any domain.

Can anyone think of what might cause this ?

Hello.

After a fresh installation of Efficy 11.3 on a new laptop, when we create the new database (a mssql db), we have an error, it says that midas.dll is missing.

But, midas.dll is present on the laptop.

We already tried:
- Reboot
- Reinstall efficy
- Use regsvr32 to register the dll

But we still have the error.

One of our customer which uses Efficy 2012 encounters several random Access violation at address errors.
It happens on the same screen, when some user tries to open in edit a custom entity (Commande).
The dll involved is not always the same, sometimes it's on msvcrt.dll, sometimes on jscript.dll, sometimes on efficy.dll...

Someone knows something about this ? Because it's a pain to restart the CRM after one of this error.

We recently upgraded an on premise client from efficy 10SP2 to 11.2.
They were using sso to connect but as of the upgrade this doesn't work anymore. See error message below :

The sidebar should be correctly configured. The option 'use current windows user' is checked but still we get the error. It worked fine in the previous version.

Does anyone have an idea where the problem could be? We are using the same server.
Let me know if more information is needed.

Into the new 11.3 (Build 11.3.18130.0 2019-06-28 11:03) the activation of the category doc$invoice is mandatory to access to the Plus Button to add a product.

Should I understand R&D decided to block all link to a document if product is not use to create invoice ?
It's a problem in that case. Lot of my customers use documents linked to products to add Pictures or technical PDF description. Then use gallery into product to show pictures and technical detail of the product.

So do you know if it possible to bypass that without any customization. Maybe there is something to parameter into designer ? The only solution for the moment to me is to activate the category by default into the document. But it's stupid !

I've made a fresh install of Efficy 11.2.17611 on a new server, and have this error when trying to connect to efficy (or conficy)

Message: Invalid object name 'EFFICY_CRM.SYS_DATABASE' select
SYS_DATABASE.DBVERSION from EFFICY_CRM.SYS_DATABASE SYS_DATABASE

I precise that the DB is already existing on an other server, and is "OK", i can connect and use it from my local install.
I've compared the alias and customer profil on my local computer, and the one on the server, i didn't see any difference.

The error is the "EFFICY_CRM.SYS_DATABASE" EFFICYCRM is the name of the DB and the name of the alias, not the name of the DB owner, ... it must be AEFFICY.

I don't see what is wrong in my config.

I try to use the this function Efficy.currentUserContactId() to catch the K_CONTACT from ACC_ACCOUNTS.
My contacts are well linked with the users and contacts in designer and In SQL I can find the key of the contact.

When I execute my workflow the function return ever the default value, zero.
The other function as currentUserCode, currentUserId, etc. working well.

I have an error when I try to go on the tab Workload Plan in the Project Management module. No custom, I just wanted to try the new features of the 11.3.
First Efficy raises a Javascript alert :

Then I open the console to see if there was some details on this error and this is what I have seen :

PDF Conversion Failed from CRM

Hello,

I have an issue to do PDF Conversion directly into the CRM.
I have configured the PDFConverter with the two folders In & Out ; I have configured the 3 parameters in SYS_SETTINGS for the database I want to use the service.
I have installed the PDFConverterService with admin rights and set up some rights on In & Out folder and also on the Efficy installation folder (just in case...).

When I put a .docx file in the "In" folder and then I run PDFConverterAdmin.exe, the conversion works well.
When I try to do the same into Efficy (with the same file which is attached to a Document) I got this message :

Erreur inattendue
ID: CORE-1296
Message: The PDF Conversion failed

Is someone has already encountered this error ?

I installed a brand new server to host the PDFOfficeConverter service. The user which is running the application (efficy\svc.pdf) doesn't have admin rights on the server / domain.

In interactive mode, everything is working well.

When I start the service, I got this error :

Error while opening Microsoft Word: Server execution failed, ClassID: {000209FF-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}

Note that you may have the issue on the Excel or PowerPoint classID

Hi all,

after a Sidebar update, combined with an Efficy update, the phone otions in the Sidebar are gone. This means the section where I can define the actions (i.e. "create new action" ) during call activation is empty and no selection is possible.

When reviewing the sidebar.log file I have following error:

Any hint to solve this issue would be great.

The Efficy Version is: 11.1.16658 and the Sidebar Version is 11.1.16948 with Sync.

In the Netherlands we use hyphens in our dateformat (e.g. 14-01-2019)
For our cloud customers on Efficy 10SP2 and Efficy 11 we get an error when we want to use specific dates in the criteria of Custom Views or Queries.

Only when we don't use the datepicker and manually fill in the date with slashes (and save it directly... not apply!!) it's used, but every time we change this Custom View or Query we have to re-fill this date again :-(

Anyone has any idea which part is the cause of this problem?
- The server configuration ?
- The settings in custom.js ?
- The regional settings of the client ?
- An error in Efficy itself ?

Important to mention that on all other parts of Efficy we don't have a problem with filling in or showing dates

While the Exchange Synchro is impersonating an Office 365 mailbox, the following error could be returned by Office 365 while retrieving the date of the server

ExchangeImpersonation SOAP header must not exist for this type of OAuth token

This error only appears with Office 365 account. It can be temporary, disappear the next day or switch to another Office 365 account of the same domain.

During the MSI installation of the sidebar, it is quite rare, but you can unfortunately encounter that kind of error :

This error is particularly annoying because even if you uninstall any previous sidebar installation, you will most probably still be blocked at this step.
That situation is most probably caused by a corrupted registry regarding sidebar components.

[SOLVED] Raising a SOAP request to Efficy CRM using curl gives "Unexpected error: Incorrect SOAP Request"

I am testing the SOAP requests with curl, on Linux.

This is the SOAP request I used: A file "request.xml", with the following contents:

Thanks a lot for the answers.

Inspecting and comparing the request sent with the PHP code I mentioned in one of the comments here, and checking the request header for the curl request, found that the issue was with the way I passed the file name - we had to add an @ symbol to filenames, when passing to curl.

Cannot Authorize sync with PieSync

I"m trying to authorize a sync with PieSync in order to sync contacts with an emailplatform.

According to the instructions I have to enter database name, login and password.

I tried this but kept getting the error that database name is incorrect.
"There was an issue with your credentials, the authentication failed with: [EEfficyBrokerMessage] Incorrect Database Alias"

Error on creating child database "SYS_LICENSE"

Hello,

During creation of Child database (MS SQL), I'm getting at the end of it an error message saying:
Invalid object name "admin.SYS_LICENSES".

The database is created physically on DB server, and the table syslicense does exist, but it's related to schema "childDB" so it's full name is "childDB.SYSLICENSES"

And on the mother database there's no entry in table SYS_CHILDREN for the created child, so no sync can be done.

This problem often happens after trying to distribute IE9/10/11 via SCCM

Due to this installation the user profile often gets corrupted with as result that the he does not has any access rights on the temporary files folder.
Most often the user will get the error message ‘cannot create cookie’ or will get ‘session time out’ every time he wants to log in true sidebar

You can immediately recognize this problem when you check:
Internet Options > General > Settings
If there is no path under current location then you know it is due to this problem

Now to solve this:

Go to: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\ and rename it to INetCache_old.

Then do the same to the default user, else windows will take this one and will not have any access to it either.

Go to: C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache and rename it to INetCache_old.
To the same for INetCookies.

Now reboot the computer => Congratz, your problem should be solved !

This error can occur when using instant email, message from a document, or an invitation :
there is an issue when the Sidebar is trying to instantiate outlook through the Microsoft OLE Automation interface. Information found on the web states that it can occurs when there was a mix of Outlook version or when the mapi32.dll is corrupted.
Also, some security programs can interfere with those automation.

I got a bug when using [$=ACTI.D_BEGIN,format='hh:nn']
If my action begin with a "before duration" then the starting date is bad formatted.

Exemple :
BASIC
1.I create a RDV which start at 09h00 AM
2.When merging D_BEGIN is 09h00 AM

WITH TIME BEFORE
1.I create a RDV which start at 09h00 AM + TIMEBEFORE 45mn
2.When merging D_BEGIN is 09h45 AM rather than 08h45 AM

I just need to have the value of DBEGIN (9h00).
So why the DBEGIN is wrong ?
How to get the basic hour begin without using an argument or runscript ?

Efficy 2014 6640 - Remote Files - Read-only issue

Hello,

I have an issue with the remote files for one of our clients.

When we try to access to a file which is in read-only, we have an error.

1) I access to the document which is in read-only mode

2) When I click on the document, I have this popup

3) If I press “OK”, a new window opens with this message :
