It seems that it's not working in standard.

Is there a syntax or special parameter to include the schema name (e.g. ADMIN), so we can prefix function calls?

For one of our customer, we have a synchronization of the users with an LDAP.

SQL queries where used to create the user, the user where correctly created and he could connect to Efficy. But sometimes he could not access records.

After an analysis we remarked that the difference between creating the user from Efficy Designer and the creation through our SQL statement was that the user is linked to himself in the ACC_GROUPS table.

I would like to know/ to understand why such rule exist and what it is used for.

Does anyone know if the SYS_SETTINGS entries are automatically (or not) updated during the Upgradedb.exe ?

Because I remarked that there is quite some new settings in “Common” and “Efficy” of Efficy 2021 entries like those :

For Common there are those new entries:
- signingPartner
- authentication
- synchronousEmail

For Efficy there are those new entries:
- invSettings
- disableMobileApp
- agendaIcalShareSelfOnly
- hideBirthYearAndAge

some entries moved place like the “oneAll” entry this one has been placed in the “authentication” entry
some have been renamed like “chat” entry which becomes “websocket”

etc…

Designer or Efficy user Switch or replacement

Dear all,

A customer asked if there is a functionality in Efficy/Designer to switch users. For instance a user leave the customer company and the customer wants to replace a new user by this leaving user.
This means that all records created or secured by the old user should be replaced by the new user.

In Efficy Standard, I could not find such functionality. Does any one has done something similar?

The first Idea I had is to reuse the "Old" user rename it and change its password for the new user. But the customer wants to keep track of the historical's changes done by the old user.

Could we create companies reference using Efficy designer?

Is this normal that when I want to copy a database (11.3), I don't get the sys_forms customs (with the option "structure only") ?

In my opinion, I should have them. I get the customs fields from sys_fields, why not the custom forms ?

Chronos with Staging Tool

I created a custom entity ("Activité") for a customer (on test env), and we added a Chronos on this entity.

Then I used the staging to push it on the prod env.
Staging worked fine, my entity and all the field are showing but it seems like staging tool "ignored" chronos. I don't have any chronos for my new entity :

Is it a known issue ?
Is tehre a way to have the chronos included in the staging ?

differences and error between migration with conficy and migration with upgradedb.exe

Hi all,

I have some error when migrate a db to Efficy 11.2.

If i launch the migration with conficy, i have no error, db is migrated and process run till the end, but it seems that the migration is not fully complete because there is some fields not existing (see here).

If i launch the migration with UpgradeDB.exe, i have some bloking error.
The error is that when the upgrade tools try to create the views, function used in the views are not prefixed by the sql user, and so the migration process stop.
with the migration process from conficy there is not this error.

Hi all,

I made a migration from Efficy 2014 6100 to an Efficy 11.2.17611
Upgrade DB has been done without error with conficy.
Connection in Efficy and Conficy seems to be good.
I have some "normal" error in Efficy linked to the custom not fully migrated yet.

But, i have some error in conficy (in user and group interface)

CAMCARD & K_FLEXMAIL field not found

i have compare the acc_accounts table with an empty efficy 11.2 database, and effectivly, these 2 fields exist in the empty db, but they didn't exist in the migrated db.

Of course i can create the fields manually, but the question is why ? how can i be sure that i have not problem with other fields and other tables ?

Why are the references in the Designer limited to the rights on them?

Hi,

I've noticed that since I don't know when that a user is only seeing the references which they have rights on. This is unwanted behavior for user administrators which creates references. In this way it's possible that a user administrator is creating a duplicate reference as it's possible that it's a reference which they don't need to have rights on.

Is there a way for a user administrator to see by default all the references?

Adding 127.0.0.1 is not the answer I'm expecting, I'm really looking for a wild card expression.

Let suppose we have three users :

User A
User B
User C

Each user is member of a group :

User A : Everyone + Group 1 + Admin
User B : Everyone + Group 1
User C : Everyone + Group 2

There is a category on "contacts" called "Employee".

Everyone should not have access
Group 1 should read the content
Group 2 should not see the category and his content (no access then)

If User A or B modify information on a contact :

A and B see the information
C do not see the information the information in the category (he does not see the category).

So far, everything work as expected.

BUT :

User A, B AND user C see the change in the chronos, and what's been changed !

Is that a configuration problem or a bug ? If it is a bug, is that fixed in Efficy 11.1 ?

SSO or LDAP integration available in the cloud

When Efficy is used in our cloud, can the SSO or LDAP authentication be used, or is this only available for Efficy On-Premise.

A customer in Holland wants users to authenticate via his Active Directory.

If it is available, how can it be configured ?

Search into a MEMO field

Dear All,

I am trying to add the MEMO field in the search field list in the Search Window, I checked the checkbox "Searchable" in Conficy

This allow me to select the MEMO field in the search screen, but when I search in it, it seems that it doesn't search on the MEMO field because as result I get the list of all companies in the Database !

The only way I found is by using the "Complete Search"

Is there another way of doing this ?

Most of time, when a standard field disapeared from a version to another, it's still available in conficy but not displayed.
Use "forms" in Conficy, to make it visible again...

This is the case for field "Main company' in COMP_CONT.

Conficy Hidden Feature : REGION

1- What is this feature and in which case we can use it ?
2- How to activate it ?

Apparently the 'standard' associated fields functionality in a category does not work anymore in Efficy2014. (Master-Detail still works perfect)

Does anybody have a solution for this ?

Designer - Apply structure fails on "NOT NULL NULL"

Here is the error message I get :

Database Upgrade was not successful. Error in following script:

This is not the first time I observe that problem, but I can't find the solution anymore... Any idea(s) ?

UPDATE : SOLVED (thanks to Alexis Duclos)

To solve the issue, I just needed to execute the query in a SQL client, fixing the "double NULL" error:

alter table LK_COMP_LEGALKIND modify "LEGALKIND" NVARCHAR2(12) NOT NULL

Then, I was able again to process a successful "Apply Structure"

I got a customer request to implement a 3 max login attempt for Efficy 2012.

We cannot upgrade to Efficy 2014.
Is it possible to use the Efficy 2014 max login attempt functionality as a customisation on Efficy 2012?

Untill now, we report the days when someone did something in Conficy.
Does anyone have an creative ideas to implement some sort of change log for Conficy.

How can I translate a panel title ? (2014)

I created a panel with a pair of fields.
In efficy, the panel appears as "Fields" in english, "Champs" in french.
With Conficy, in the translations of my panel, I specified terms in different languages but it has no effect on the interface.

Remark : If I add a second panel, my terms are used as title of my "sub-panel".
