Bee Plugin new Authentication

As the Bee Plugin is slowly deprecating their old authentication method, E-deal will be compatible with the new authentication method starting from v2024-029 and vWinter2021-125.
Please make sure to apply the new staging file so the "GetBeePluginInfo.Option.Hub.GetBeePluginInfo" option is updated to "/service/getbeeplugininfov2".

New Microsoft Authentication Method for the Outlook plug-in

Following our previous communication regarding Microsoft’s new authentication method, we are pleased to announce that the builds for the affected versions will be made available on May 22, 2025.

To assist you with this update, a link to the step-by-step procedure is available in the dedicated folder for the Outlook plug-in installation within our online documentation on E-deal. You will be able to navigate through the relevant chapters as needed.

Outlook plugin for on-premise versions of Exchange Server (2013, 2016, 2019):

if new manifest (since v2024 Build 21, vWinter2021 Build 117, v2021 172) has been installed you need to delete the 'WebApplicationInfo' tag added to the e-deal-crm-outlook-plugin-manifest.xml file. If no you can keep your current manifest.

set the new OfficeAddIn.Api option to 'EWS' : Use the staging file metadatastaging\OfficeAddinAPI_option.staging provided in the distribution.

Vulnerability - Extranet upgrade

The majority of the extranet node's dependencies have been updated, notably :

Angular to 19.1.2
Bootstrap to 5.3.3
Webpack to 5.97.1

To upgrade those dependencies, ng-jhipster has been removed and replaced by already present libraries.
Moment and moment-timezone were also removed as they were not used.
Tslint has been replaced by es-lint.
The webpack build module has been changed from commonJs to ES6.

Node and npm version has also been updated to 22.13.1 and 10.9.2.
You should upgrade your own version of node and npm to the one above when working with the extranet.

On java's side, Jhipster has been updated to 8.8.0 and Spring Boot to 3.4.1.
Sonar plugin and properties were removed from the pom as they were not used.

Vulnerability - Migration from solr3 to solr8.11.2
(from the build W2021-032 / 2021-89 / 2019-133)

In order to fix vulnerabilities, the solr version has been upgraded from v3.6.2 to v8.11.2 (working with servlet above or equal to v3.1 (javax.servlet)).

Only the Solr home direction need to be updated with the Solr 8.11.2 jars and the new configuration : in the Solr home directory any jars with the version 3.6.1 need to be replaced as well as the configuration files.

Replace the content of the solr home directory by the content you can
find under the distribution res/solr.
Generate and reload the description.
Restart Solr.

The existing indexation may work, but in case of any issue a full re-indexation may be required by following these steps :

Delete existing index : /edeal/data and /knowledgebase/data.
Generate and reload the description.
Then, restart Solr and launch the full indexation.

Does anyone know how to customize CKEditor configuration ?
Currently in standard we have the configuration file ckeditor.config.js.
But there is no proper way to use the custom config file when an CKEditor intance is created.
The only way I found is to overwrite initCkEditor function in editView.js that calls the ckeditor.config.js file

But I find it odd to modify it like this. There are several places where the customConfig file path is called not only in editView.

How to queue a function call in a workflow script to execute it async?

Hi,

I am working on an integration with Efficy and Exact. One of the flows i need to implement is uploading invoices from exact to Efficy as an attachment. I currently put it in a workflow function and it works fine. However, this flow is very slow (multiple calls to exact so can't make it faster) and is blocking the end user from doing anything for 20-30 seconds. Is there a way without using schedulers to execute this flow in an async way? A bit like queueing that the function should be executed in the background.
Or is the only solution using a scheduler service and just use a small time interval?

We have this issue with efficy service AutoMailUploader :

Message: The folder save operation failed due to invalid property values."

With exactly the same service configuration between 2 Efficy on premise environnement but different builds (28174 vs 28765), we have this error message and none of emails located into the mail watched folder are processed.

An idea please ?

I want to do some jobs depend if a placeholder is setted in the previous macro or not.

So if I have:

and if I have :

But the problem is when I want to check if $LABEL$ is setted, $LABEL$ is considered as a string '$LABEL$' and not interpreted as empty string ''

So

and I'm forced to use :

How to deactivate OpenUrl.log log file ?

I'm trying to deactivate openUrl file log, cause the OpenUrl.log file is really too big (more than 1Go).
I wanted to change SYS_SETTINGS in the designer, and add logOpenUrlRequests option (as advised here : https://overflow.efficy.io/?qa=7085/when-is-openurl-log-generated)... But the logOpenUrlRequests isn't reconnized when I save my settings (the options disappears)

Can I have a solution ? a documentation for the options for SYS_SETTINGS ? anything else ?

Replace the content of the solr home directory by the content you can
find under the distribution res/solr.
Generate and reload the description.
Restart Solr.

The existing indexation may work, but in case of any issue a full re-indexation may be required by following these steps :

Delete existing index : /edeal/data and /knowledgebase/data.
Generate and reload the description.
Then, restart Solr and launch the full indexation.

Does Enterprise <> Apsis connector accept virtual fields on field mapping ?

Hello,

Did someone used a virtual (V_ with usage P) field during a mapping between Enterprise <> Apsis ?
I was told that virtual fields are supported by Enterprise <> Apsis connector. It is possible to select the field during the mapping (Apsis interface). But when running the full sync I am getting the error that V_ fields is invalid column name which is normal in Enterprise as it's a virtual field.

To get the contacts based on mapped fields in Apsis, Apsis calls an Enterprise node/api end point serverjs\api\node\marketing\apsis\contacts.js which calls a function from serverjs\marketing\apsis.js > contacts that runs a query using the provided list of fields from a payload.

Internal replies from @Kristof Pauwels:

The consult, list and search API do not support virtual fields, they
are always excluded from the result. That's not wrong on itself, it
guarantees the best performance. Only when running a query, virtual
fields can be included. So it will depend on what operation the Apsis integration uses. There are dedicated Apsis system queries and ServerJs node endpoints..
You can also decide to override the contacts method with a custom
version. Try using the <#Field> tag and see if its replaced by the
SQL expression, else you have to hardcode the SQL expression and
alias it as V_MYCOLUMN.

How to make appear a filter on same fields for different entities in query builder ?

Hello,

Imagine you have a query that shows list of document and the contacts that are linked to it.

The selection fields will be DOCUMENTS.NAME, CONTACTS.NAME, CONTACTS.FIRSTNAME, etc..

When running the query I've get the grid with the results. On the header of DOCUMENTS.NAME I have a filter that allows to search/filter by document name.

When looking into CONTACTS.NAME header the filter is not present.

From what I understand the same field naming NAME causes the issue. But when I set an alias on one of them I loose the filter too.

How could I manage to show the filter on both NAME fields ?
Should I name (alias) a field and use the alias to create a grid definition to make include the filter ?

Update:

Finally with custom definition of an ALIAS it works.

In GridColumnsCustom.txt:

The main point is to have the propriety hfilter=true.

To make it more generic alias ENTITYNAME.
GridColumnsCustom.txt:

th.ENTITYNAME {[<th class="text-center nowrap"><#H=$FIELD$;sort=true;hfilter=true;Text=$ENTITY$Name></th>]}

And the $ENTITY$Name depending on entity will be ContName, CompName, etc... can be translated in CustomLabels.txt.

I would like to know if it is possible to customize the background color of the Save button on a web form, specifically via the formcsslook.css file (e.g., color code #add649).
I am currently using version W2021-113.

The Challenge

One of our clients, recently shared their frustration with our standard process:

They were told they needed to create documents in Word
Add Nitro tags like in Word
Convert to PDF
Only then send for signatures through our module

This workflow was particularly cumbersome for their team who primarily works with PDF files.

The Solution We Discovered
During a client call, we tested a simple but effective workaround:

Open the PDF directly in Adobe Acrobat Reader
Add a text element containing the Nitro tag (e.g., )
Change the text color to match the background (making it invisible)
Save the file
Upload to Enterprise document and create a signature request

The Result

✅ Success! Nitro correctly identified the hidden tags and replaced them with signatures

✅ The client received properly signed documents

✅ No Word-to-PDF conversion needed!

Client Feedback

"Next time when pitching to clients, don't forget to tell them they can use PDF directly to include tags. This could make a big difference and avoid misguiding cases like we had."

This small change can significantly improve workflow efficiency for clients who primarily work with PDFs!

Restart Solr.

The existing indexation may work, but in case of any issue a full re-indexation may be required by following these steps :

Delete existing index : /edeal/data and /knowledgebase/data.

Then, restart Solr and launch the full indexation.

How to show only the records directly linked to the connected user in list view (USERSELECTION query tag)?

@Stéphane Roncin pointed out that , since the Enterprise 2021 and + , the Oppo list view don't show the records of groups that are linked to the record and the connected user is part of (linked to the group). It only shows the records that are directly linked to the user. Which wasn't the case for version under 2021.

The difference is in the the SYSQUERIES: KMASTER(22), K_DETAIL(0).
<#USERSELECTION usertable="OPPO_USER" key="K_OPPORTUNITY" isactiveparam="true" directlink="true"> U1 the argument directlink="true".

directlink - Optional argument, if not empty, consider only items directly linked to the users, do no consider groups (see: https://help.efficy.io/edn/querytags#userselection) . In case if you want the behavior from previous versions just remove the argument directlink.

Now. If you want to have the same behavior as in Oppo for other Entities list view you need to change the SYS_QUERIES list of your entity and use USERSELECTION.

It is not mentioned in "Efficy Query Tag" documentation but you have to update SYS_SETTINGS too.
Designer > SYS_SETTINGS > Efficy > entityListsWithTagUserSelection.

The entityListsWithTagUserSelection takes into account the keys of entities separated by semicolon ";". Ex.: "entityListsWithTagUserSelection": "10;22",. (22 is Oppo per default)
If you don't provide the entity in SYS_SETTINGS the USERSELECTION will not behave as intended.

How to emplement runscript for email template

Hello,

I'm used to create runscripts to personnalize docx files, but it seems to be different with email templates.

This runscript [$RunScript(module="templates/email", name="iu_nom_prenom")] works fine in a docx template, but I have no result in an email template.

While debugging, I fugured out that the contKey = 0 while editing the email template but I got the good value with a docx version :

var contKey = Efficy.getMainDetail(editHandle, ntCont);

Do you have any tips/informations ?
