Vulnerability - Migration from solr3 to solr8.11.2
(from the build MID2018-152)

In order to fix vulnerabilities, the solr version has been upgraded from v3.6.2 to v8.11.2 (working with servlet version above or equal to v3.1 (javax.servlet)).
It is a breaking change because the index will no longer be working and a full indexation will be required, therefore, following steps must be followed:

Replace the content of the solr home directory by the content you can
find under the distribution res/solr/. Solr uses a different
configuration and need to be updated. Solr jar version must match
v8.11.2.
Delete existing index : /edeal/data and /knowledgebase/data.
Generate and reload the description.
Then, restart Solr and launch the full indexation.

In order to manage Solr, here there are the different steps:
For the KBASE index, in the module K. Base

Indexation --> Generate description (This option is used to define
the name of the context, the type of data base, the format of the
date, etc. )
Then click on “reload description” to save the newly-generated
description and restard Solr Engine (Action Menu)
In the menu Indexation, click on “Full indexing” .

The search engine is ready to be used.

For the E-DEAL index, follow the same steps, by going to the search page logged as administrator and run the actions.

For the KBASE index, in the module K. Base

Indexation --> Generate description (This option is used to define
the name of the context, the type of data base, the format of the
date, etc. )
Then click on “reload description” to save the newly-generated
description and restard Solr Engine (Action Menu)
In the menu Indexation, click on “Full indexing” .

The search engine is ready to be used.

For the E-DEAL index, follow the same steps, by going to the search page logged as administrator and run the actions.

Log4j Vulnerability :
Efficy Corporate 2019 was using log4j1 as its logging component, far less vulnerable to log4jShell than log4j2, but not 100% secure in some specific configuration.
The logging component have been upgraded to log4j2 (v2.17) to increase security.
The main consequence is that the logger configuration have to be rewritten, to adopt the log4j2 format.
You have to transpose your configuration from what was in your log4j.properties config. file to the new log4j2.xml file. (some examples are provided, and there is lot of internet resources describing the log4j2 format)
