Chronos with Staging Tool

I created a custom entity ("Activité") for a customer (on test env), and we added a Chronos on this entity.

Then I used the staging to push it on the prod env.
Staging worked fine, my entity and all the field are showing but it seems like staging tool "ignored" chronos. I don't have any chronos for my new entity :

Is it a known issue ?
Is tehre a way to have the chronos included in the staging ?

Rights on categories + chronos

Dear all,

A client reported me a problem in Efficy 10SP2+, but I am not sure if it is a bug or a configuration problem :

Let suppose we have three users :

User A

User B

User C

Each user is member of a group :

User A : Everyone + Group 1 + Admin

User B : Everyone + Group 1

User C : Everyone + Group 2

There is a category on "contacts" called "Employee".

Everyone should not have access

Group 1 should read the content

Group 2 should not see the category and his content (no access then)

If User A or B modify information on a contact :

A and B see the information

C do not see the information the information in the category (he does not see the category).

So far, everything work as expected.

BUT :

User A, B AND user C see the change in the chronos, and what's been changed !

Is that a configuration problem or a bug ? If it is a bug, is that fixed in Efficy 11.1 ?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Regards,

Loïc

Hello,

a client has 2 Efficy web servers with same database to have different date format and decimal point (European format and USA format).

But on USA server, the history tab and chronos tab are showing other format fro date and decimal point:
- Date should be MM/DD/YYYY, and it's shown on thos 2 tabs as DD/MM/YYYY
- Decimal point should be '.', and it's shown ','

Please advise, is it bug? can it be fixed by custom?

Thank you for your help in advance.
How to activate Export to Excel for Chronos ?

In Efficy 2012 on the case entity there was the "Timeline" tab, where it was possible to export the information into an Excel File.

Is it possible to do the same for Chronos (which replace this timeline tab) ?

Filter-out record in Chronos

Dear,

I need to filter the task records in chronos.
The client only wants to see the active tasks. Otherwise the list is getting to long.
Can we add a filter?

Filtrer les enregistrements dans Chronos

Bonjour,

Cordialement

Customize query behind chronos

We want to customize the chronos result
We want to combine the result of multiple contacts/companies into one Chronos timeline.
We investigated what’s behind the chronos (see below for his findings).

Who can assist us in answering this question? Is it possible? Can we modify the query generated by GetTimelineJSON?

Analyses:
Apparently and from what I gathered, the only easy customisable aspect is the list of fields and detail entities that is considered and displayed in the timeline.
This can be done through Conficy.
I can’t see any entry in sys_queries that is linked to timelines.

However, it appears that a call to this url:
https://domain/efficy.dll/consult?_macrofile=MacroTimeline&_macro=JsonTimelineBlocks&entity=Cont&key=302858
is triggered when we open the Chronos detail tab.
It apparently returns a stringify JSON object used by the macro file to render the table.
I guess that we can theoretically consult another customer by specifying another key to the TimelineView.
Even another entity can possibly be consulted, which leads me to think that we could consult the group entity linked to the customer.
This will unfortunately result only in a history of the entities directly linked to the group (i.e. the customers) but not the complete history of those linked customers themselves.

What we could do however is gathering the list of customers for the desired group and then merge the result of their timelines (by iteratively calling the macro above specifying entity/key) in a JSON object with the same structure and which would be processed and rendered by MacroTimeline.

Another possibility could be regenerating a SQL query that would list all the changes for all the entities linked to the group and generate the JSON ourselves.
It would basically mean reprogramming “GetTimelineJSON” (?) so that it matches our needs.
