Error 12044 in openUrl2/secure/secureUtf8 when Postman call is processed correctly

Dear all,

For a customer we are developing a link with Canopy Deploy. In Postman / PowerShell (Invoke-Webrequest) the request is processed correctly.

When trying it in the application with the same headers / data at the same machine the Efficy.openUrlSecure / Utf8 is receiving a 12044 A certificate is required to complete client authentication error. In openUrl2 the same: Message: "Cannot find web server "webhook.myclang.com"
Error Code: 12044

What could be wrong?

When creating a local database, it say "midas.dll is missing", but the dll is present

Hello.

After a fresh installation of Efficy 11.3 on a new laptop, when we create the new database (a mssql db), we have an error, it says that midas.dll is missing.

But, midas.dll is present on the laptop.

We already tried:
- Reboot
- Reinstall efficy
- Use regsvr32 to register the dll

But we still have the error.

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a migration from 2012 to 11.3
Db Upgrade have run without any error, i can connect, i can .. etc.

But, when trying to make a dump with DbStaging, i receive this error:

Error: ENTT-2574 Field "RATE", datatype "numeric" not supported

I've try with a brand new database and i have no error.
I've compare the 3 RATE fields definition in SYS_FIELDS, between my db and the brand new db, they are the same.
i've compare the sql fields definition in the database, and they are the same
i've check in the data, and there is no datas.

DB Version is 11.3.18520.0
DbStaging version is 11.3.18520.0
Rgdb: SQL Server

I don't see where is the error.

Is it possible to customize the error page thrown from workflow

I was wondering if it is possible to customize or adapt slightly the error page in case you throw an error from the workflow?

If we take the example under here, would it be possible to :
- format the text shown (in this case "lala"), for example put the text in bold. I haven't been able to do this
- Modify the error title, in this case "Onverwachte fout"

Code in workflow : throw new Error("lala");

Hello ,

I'm actually working on the upgrade of a customer.
And I have some issues with the import directive in the workflow.

Testing Context :

I'm using the sample custom provided by R&D.
I've Added a workflow file in it.
(path: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\11.2\customs\sample\efficy\serverjs\workflow)

in the workflow file I only have the following function :

  function AfterLogon() {
    throw new Error('loaded')
 }

in the DB workflow i've added the following lines :

 /*
 @import "custom/workflow/workflow"
 */

When I try to login I get the following error :

WKFL-2397

Script imports not allowed in this context

does anyone encountered this issue ?

it seems to happen only on this database, couldn't reproduce the issue on a standard DB.

any idea ?

I try to install the new release on a local server but I have each time I try to connect to the server this message.

I added into "customer and Guest Manager" tool, the customer with the authorized URL but I still have this bug. Any idea of the problems ?
The tests into the admin console seem ok.

I'm facing an issue where in workflow i have some script to throw error to user in certain cases.

throw new Error(..)

if i test it locally it works perfectly, but when i test on server it's not showing or throwing any error. is there some configuration somewhere to disable throwing errors?

disable vs7debug only for Efficy on a server

Hi,

The Efficy server is mutualized with a BI (micro strategy) server. for some reason the microstrategy applicative needs the vs7debug engine to run properly...

as far as I know the only way that I have to make the efficy error engine to work properly is to disable vs7debug by renaming it.

Do you know a way to disable it through IIS or else only for Efficy use? exceptions to set or anything...

Disable just-in-time error message on server

Hello,

I want to to disable the pop-up of error message for just-in-time debugger, becasue it's blocking the user's session when an error occurred, so only when i cancel the message on server the user get back an error (same on JIT debugger).

so how to disable the JIT debugger message and keep only the returned message to user?

I've already tried to delete some keys from registery upon this link and restart windows but still get it.

Error on creating child database "SYS_LICENSE"

Hello,

During creation of Child database (MS SQL), I'm getting at the end of it an error message saying:
Invalid object name "admin.SYS_LICENSES".

The database is created physically on DB server, and the table syslicense does exist, but it's related to schema "childDB" so it's full name is "childDB.SYSLICENSES"

And on the mother database there's no entry in table SYS_CHILDREN for the created child, so no sync can be done.

I have a serverscript that is run by the user "admin" through the scheduleradmin.exe and that create a company record :

Prototypes override in serverscripts

Hi,

in the serverscripts contexts (like a taskscheduler) I try to use some function that are not implemented (eg : Array.prototype.splice, or indexof) by the efficy js compiler (? am I right?).

anyway, i used in my script a typical prototype's override like :

Array.prototype.splice = function (_index, _length, _elems){
    var result = new Array();
    var i = 0;

    while (i < _index){
        result.push(this[i]);
        i++;
    }

    if (_elems) for (var j=0; j<_elems.length; j++) result.push(_elems[j]);

    }

    this = result;
};

At this point I don't even care about my code working or not, being optimized or not...

Then in my code I try to call my prototype by using a classic :

myArray.splice(1, 2);

but efficy throw me an error like my method doesn't exist...

I can only assume that the prototype I override is not the one called by my code after the Efficy dual language compiler has done its work.

Am I right in my interpretation?
what would you recommand me to use to make those kind of overrides?
is it forecast to implement a real JS engine to Efficy? (please tell me you will convert efficy dll as a nodejs application)

meanwhile if you need to use those kind of functionnalities this is what I ve temporarly done :

In our project, we have a WebApi who inserts data into Efficy DB using SOAP (EFFICY.EfficyCRM.NET.dll).

This WebAPI creates the Efficy's connection using an ADMIN login/password.

We want to impersonate a user in order to get the power of Efficy Securities/Right defined in Conficy.

We expect that if we call "DataBase.SetUsers" After impersonation, every records created
in the ACTI_USER table will be created according rights, groups, linked to this impersonated user in Conficy.

But, right now, we receive this error :

"ExceptionMessage": "SOAP Error: DSActiEdit1ActiUser: Cannot
modify a read-only dataset",

The ADMIN user has full access.

I got a bug when using [$=ACTI.D_BEGIN,format='hh:nn']
If my action begin with a "before duration" then the starting date is bad formatted.

Exemple :
BASIC
1.I create a RDV which start at 09h00 AM
2.When merging D_BEGIN is 09h00 AM

WITH TIME BEFORE
1.I create a RDV which start at 09h00 AM + TIMEBEFORE 45mn
2.When merging D_BEGIN is 09h45 AM rather than 08h45 AM

I just need to have the value of DBEGIN (9h00).
So why the DBEGIN is wrong ?
How to get the basic hour begin without using an argument or runscript ?

Today when you have a Error in the Schedule Script you will have something like this:

If I am doing a

   Database.Log(e.message);
}

I am getting only the message "Object doesn't support this property or method"

Is there only possibility to get also the Error "WKFL-2142 Error while executing Script "Microsoft JScript runtime error" at line 115 char 5." ?

I would like to log this information for synchronization purpose.
