Exchange provider that allow impersonate rights modification

Hello all,

A client has an Exchange server provided by OVH (no Office 365). Their issue is that OVH won't let them setup impersonate rights on an user to sync with Efficy.

They do not want to migrate to Office 365 or get an On premise server for this.

Does anyone know of a client that has an Exchange server provider that can allow impersonate rights ?

It's a French client so a French provider/Hosted in France would be nice.

Hello,

I would like to help one of our clients to hide some details (Subject, description, place, etc.) of the event coming from Outlook Calendar (We're using the groupware synchronization task ! )
Is there any way to make this happen in the sync model ?

Suggestions are welcome

Thank you !

Moderne Authentification exchange ?

Bonjour,

E-Deal CRM by Efficy 2017, 2018, mid2018, 2019 et 2021.

Si vous avez la moindre question, votre account manager reste à votre disposition.

Il y aura des patchs pour les version E-DEAL < 2017 ( 2014 et 2011) ? le sujet est délicat pour certain client et fait un point contractuel.

Cordialement,
On-premise migration from exchange to cloud (office 365)

Hello,

An on-premise client is going to migrate from Exchange to Office 365. My question now is: what impact will that have on the Efficy integration?

Are there steps to follow to facilitate the migration?

The client version of Efficy is 11.0

Thank you.

Settings for AutoMailUploader with Exchange on-prem

Did anybody make the above possible to run?

No matter which port or encryption method I am using, I get Socket (10054) errors, wrong SSL version or similar. The Exchange Sync Service is running very fine, but not the impersonation for Automatic Mails Upload.

Hi,

i'm making a list of exchange error in log of a customer, and need to get the exact reason of the error.

Error while updating the Appointment in Outlook
CreateAppo - Error Message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

i have no idea, ... something deleted in outlook ?

Error while updating the Appointment in Outlook
Error trying to update item: ResponseCode: ErrorCalendarDurationIsTooLong

Duration too long, ok, but how is it possible ? what must we do to fix that ?

Error while updating the Task in Efficy
You don't have the authority to modify this item

How to set the environnement to make the exchange sync work on Efficy10 (/sp1) [Solved]

Hi,

I did enconter some trouble to make the Exchange Sync work on Efficy 10 (especially after a migration from 2012) when I tried to use the new settings (from conficy, with ExchangeSyncQueueListenerThing)

Apparently you still have to register the new dll on windows to make it work:

to make the trick you will need to use the following cmdline :

C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\RegAsm.exe "C:\Program Files (x86)\Efficy\dotnet\ExchangeSync\Exchange Web Synchro.dll" /codebase

Note that the RegAsm.exe to use is no longer the v2.0 Framework .net but now it s the 4.0.
By using the 2.0 (like we did before) you will get a magnificent "invalid assembly" error...

Thanks to Olivier and Kevin for their help about this

Can you control the frequency of the validation phase during the Exchange sync ?

We have a customer who works with the local Outlook sync.

They only want one directional syncs.
But when they delete an appointment in Outlook it isn’t deleted in Efficy.

But it will come back in the validation phase.
That validation phase only occurs every 10-20 syncs.

Is it possible or is it already the case that we place in the register the parameter that controls the amount of syncs after which the validation occurs?
And this for the local sync utility.

That way we can control it depending the customer desire to have it e.g. every sync.

We can’t ask the customer to sync 20 times on the local sync to be sure everything is synced like they want.

Synchronization Exchange Queue ( Validation process)

How does the validation process works with the new sync exchange queue ?

What especially interest me is deletion of appointments.

Here is the case :

A user have an appointment in Exchange. Only he is linked to it.
Appointment goes to Efficy.
Workflow is activated for sync exchange. Workflow adds another user to this appointment.
User deletes appointment in Outlook.

=> Will Synch send appointment back to Outlook ?
What are the boundaries (timestemps/configurations) that determine if appointment will be sent to outlook? dchange ? dcreate ?

Configuring ScheduledProcesses using XML file

Is it possible to configure the new Exchange Sync Queue (+ init + validation), by editing XML file of ScheduledProcesses ?

The main goal is to configure the service by editing configuration file , without using GUI.

What I am willing to achieve is : pushing configurations and files to the server, without having full access to it.

Exchange migration from external to Efficy server

Hi,

A prospect has his Exchange mailboxes hosted externally. In a proposal of Efficy implementation I have to evaluate the workload for the transfert to Efficy Exchange server.

My questions are:
- What is the process
- what are the problems that can be faced
- What is the estimated workload per mailbox

Thanks and Regards
