Gallery thumbnail issue due to dimensions

Hello,

We recently had an upgrade to efficy 11.1.

When uploading attachments to a document, everything goes fine.

However, the gallery thumbnails don't work for images added after the upgrade to efficy. When i look into the FILES table, i see that the dimensions are wrong ( always pxwidth = 9519688, pxheight = 0 )
I presume that the thumbnail dimensions are then badly calculated.

Is this a known issue? Where should i look to fix this?

Efficy version : Efficy (Build 11.1.14457.0 2018-09-11 11:01)

Thank you!

[Efficy 10] Image in template received by HTTP request

Hi,

I have to add an image into a template which is received by HTTP request (post) from a serverscript. I don't find any way to append it on .rtf template.

When the request is done, I save the image on HDD (I didn't found an other way to save the binary, if you have something, I take!) and now, I should add this image on template.

How can I do it, please ?
Thanks for your help,

Best regards.

How to update the contact profile picture using soap?

I've got a question about the Efficy Soap Wrapper for .Net. The profile picture of a user has to be updated using the efficy soap wrapper. What is the best way to do this?

Besides that I would like to know how I can retrieve the file format (jpg/png/etc.). Is this information being saved in the database or do we need to retrieve this from the header in the binary data?

How importing an blob image field from an eLink database to an Efficy database via DataSynchro

I need to update an image field into a category on Efficy provided by eLink.
By default this code doesn't work.

I tried :

 Database.ActivateCategory(EditHandle, 'DOCU$ORG')
 var CategoryDataSet = Database.GetCategoryDataSet(EditHandle, 'DOCU$ORG')
 CategoryDataSet.Edit
 CategoryDataSet.FieldByName('F_VISUEL').AsWideString = DataStore.AsString('F_VISUEL')
 CategoryDataSet.Save

or

Database.ActivateCategory(EditHandle, 'DOCU$ORG')
Database.UpdateCategory(EditHandle, 'DOCU$ORG', 'F_VISUEL', DataStore.AsString('F_VISUEL'))

In all cases blob is not updating properly. File seem corrupted.
We tried to do a smartCompress but not recognize into a DataSynchro.

Any idea to transfer these BLOB ?

In both cases it's an SQL SERVER 2003 connector

resize an img before it's received

Hello,

Is there a way to resize an img before it's received?

I would like to display img in a list which something like :

efficy.dll/img?entity=Acti&key=<#F=$KEY$>&FIELD=F_MYFIELD

I currently resize the img client side in css, but this isn't a good solution (slow/bandwidth..).

Is there some extra parameters that we can add that I'm not aware of, like &WIDTH=60 or something?

A 'solution' would be to resize the image when it's loaded and store it as a thumbnail next to the original one, but it's extra work..
