outlook add-in - efficy integration - save in error "couldn't connect to efficy - midas.dll missing"

Hi everyone,

One of my user came yesterday with a strange error popup from his outlook add-in efficy integration.

Whenever he's trying to use the add-in, outlook crashes because it couldn't connect to efficy server. then popup appears telling "couldn't load midas.dll"

Also outlook asking if I want to import dll missing from the server, which not working

i access efficy through the sidebar - and everything's ok from the web

what I already tried :
- reinstall efficy sidebar
- midas.dll is well stored in syswow64/system32
- registrer midas.dll
- update outlook

I have 30 users working with this efficy integration, and I haven't configure anything different on his computer.

Demande from Mail - Shared mailbox

This question is about the demande from mail feature for EDEAL 2021.

Is it possible to use this feature on shared mailbox in Outlook ? And if it's possible, is there any difference durin the configuration/treatment from the "Demande From Mail" task between a simple mailbox and a shared mailbox ?

"New Outlook" and Efficy macOs Sidebar compatibility issue

The new version of Outlook for macOs features a new interface (not activated by default)

Users can activate this new interface from the main Outlook window:

Once this "New Outlook" is activated, the Efficy Sidebar will no longer be able to communicate with Outlook and the Sidebar buttons will do nothing.

Microsoft has not (yet) enabled Applescript in the new interface. If you are affected by this issue, don't hesitate to Upvote the following suggestion

Meanwhile, you can go back to the old interface simply by unchecking "New Outlook" on the top right of the main Outlook window.

Efficy - Outlook : Agenda Colors

I changed the SYS_ENTITYVIEWS (Name : OppoEdit) and added Oppo_Mail=Mail:

OLD STRING :

I would like to change the default duration of the created task when a user convert email (in outlook) into a task.

Will workflow work (EditInitialized event) ? Isn't there an other solution (like a configuration file or something)

When i create new opportunity in Efficy, it's working perfectly. Even when i convert some project or email in Efficy is also ok.

Only when using outlook add-in to convert email directly to opportunity then the products are linked twice. In queryLog the query to get the products to link is run twice when converting email to opportunity from outlook.

I made test to disable the call for the function, then the products are not linked at all in any case.

So basically for some reason the trigger is run twice (even Inserted flag is checked) when converting email to oppo fro outlook. So Any idea why?

Hi everyone!

At EasyCash they have created a new custom field "Department" which is mandatory.
Then when they tried to save email from Outlook it did not work because that field was not filled in.
I modified the workflow to set the current user's role as the "department".
My problem is that the department which is set is always the same, for every users.

After investigation, I found out that when i call the CurrentUser() method, Efficy returns the value zero (0), but only when the email comes from Outlook. So i can not get the right K_ROLE.

So my question is: "How do I get the ID of the user which create that case from Outlook?"

emails from Efficy have no Outlook signature

When a mail is composed from Efficy ( Publications or just a notification ),
no signature is added in Outlook.

Can this be solved ?

Dear,

When syncing from Outlook to Efficy, a meeting with multiple invitees is created as many times as there are invitees. For each invitee a separate record is created in the actions table.

The invitees are only linked as contacts and not as users. Even if all invitees are known as users in Efficy.
Each user has a linked action record in his agenda. When moving your appointment (in Efficy) to a different timeslot, it is not moved for the other invitees.

Is there a way to change this behaviour?
