change colour of the icons in map search

Hi all,

is it possible to change the colour of the "buildings" displayed in the map search, when I do the "map search" on company level? When the distance is selected to get companies close to my current location, the "building" icon should be green if it is a customer and red if not.

maybe someone has a tip if it is basically possible and if yes, which files are related to change for this customisation.

Search menu not displayed in custom entity since Efficy 2021

Hello,

We are migrating a client from 11.0 to Efficy 2021.
They use one custom entity named AGREEMENTS, in macrodesktopcustom this entity is displayed in left menu by this macro :

DesktopEntityAgre {[<%Macro('DesktopEntitiesItem', rights='Agre', entity='Agre', $cmd$='Agre', $caption$='AGREEMENTS', $icon$='i-Agre')%>]}

Everything works fine in 11.0 but since Efficy 2021 the search menu doesn't appear when i click on the three points (every works fine with standard entities).
I can see history, favorites and add a new agreement but not search as you can see :

Everything is good in the general search menu too, the custom entity is always here.

Did we miss something new to add ?

Custom field Lookup in Search Map (no text)

Hi,

I add a custom field FTYPE (lookup) in Search Map but i see the id but not the text of lookup.
I tried to add in sysqueries RFTYPE, but no changes.
I tried also add custom defintion in GridColumnsCustom.
Only in search company, i can see the text of lookup.

MacroSearchCustom code :

Customize "Search Similar Record" feature

I was wondering what the possibilities are to extend (customize) the "Search Similar Record" feature in efficy.

Is the following possible for example :
- add other fields (including custom fields)
- Combine fields

Does anyone have experience with this.

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if there's a nice and clean way to override the result of the search page with a custom function?

What i need is the following:

Open the standard search window from a relational detailmenu with the normal search features of Efficy and the createrelation action (so you can also create a new relational record)
If you click on one of the search result records, a custom function needs to start.

Hopefully someone has a simple way to do it, instead of overriding all pages and macro's.

I'm trying to add to custom sysqueries comany search kmaster=10, kdetail=-2 condition clause "COMPUSER.SECURITY > 1" so users can see only companies linked to their groups with more than search rights.

Search into a MEMO field

Dear All,

I am trying to add the MEMO field in the search field list in the Search Window, I checked the checkbox "Searchable" in Conficy

This allow me to select the MEMO field in the search screen, but when I search in it, it seems that it doesn't search on the MEMO field because as result I get the list of all companies in the Database !

The only way I found is by using the "Complete Search"

Is there another way of doing this ?

Modify Search query to get user's linked group in security

Hello,

A client using Efficy 10 SP2 has certain groups linked (in security) to all companies and products. So in this case all users can search only for what they concern about.

But also the client wants tree view working to show all linked companies and products (just names even if they don't have access to) so they can know the hierarchy. In SP2 we can accomplish this by setting "Search" rights on all companies and products for all users so the tree view works as desired.

But as side effect, now users get all companies and products in the search window (even the ones they don't have access to), so instead of searching 400 companies, now users get 16000 records which they have access to 400 of them.

so how can i customize the search query "Comp Search, KMASTER=10, kDETAL=-1" so it only retrieve companies linked to user's group in security.

One of our customer wants to make the search system insensitive (specially accent insensitive).

I am on Efficy 2014 build 6640 with a MS SQL database.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can set this up ?

Error Message when using "Full Google Search"

Scenario:

I start a search on the exact name of e.g. a product using the full search or fast search.
The option contains is not checked.

The name of the product contains 2 words seperated by a space.

No result is given.Why ?

When you check the option contains, you get a result.

How can we make sure that for every search of projects, the projects with a boolean put on 1 will not be shown, without using securities ? Just that they don't appear in the search results.

we've taken the system query and changed it, but because the Search is dynamic in creating the queries, our added where isn't taken into account.
