Open client session loses customs folder

Most of the client sessions have lost the reference to the customs/ardis folder as defined in the efficy sidebar last Friday.
They were just working fine in the morning and a few hours later efficy uses the customs/default suddenly, although the sidebar settings are unchanged.
What can be the cause of this and how can it be avoided in the future?

How to avoid session timeout for a long datasynchro remote

I have a remote datasynchro that runs a couple times a day, it contains a lot of records that need updating. The issue is that I get a session timeout before it can finish.

Is there a way to avoid this? It has to be a remote datasynchro, there's no other way.
